I went to a critique session here in Detroit... It was rather horrible, but that's a different story for another blog post. What I did notice beyond the harsh critique was how much I hated a photo before the individuals explained their reason for taking it.
One guy in particular showcased a gallery of church's here in Detroit. These photos were rather boring to me, they were just images of people at church. The only beauty in the actual photos was the architecture, but even that was kind of blah after 2-3 photos. It wasn't until he began to talk that I took interest in his work.Read More
